The Springbuck, also known as the Springbok, is a graceful and iconic antelope native to the open plains and grasslands of southern Africa. Renowned for its distinctive jumping behavior, known as stotting, where it leaps into the air with an arched back and stiff legs, the Springbuck performs this display both as a form of communication and to evade predators. Its fur showcases a beautiful blend of warm hues, ranging from light tan to reddish brown, with a striking white underbelly and a dark stripe that runs along its side. These agile herbivores have adapted well to their environment, using their keen senses and remarkable speed to thrive in the diverse landscapes they call home.
